He appeared to have given up because his teeth were decaying from his mouth and his body was covered with bruises and wounds. As a result, the rescuers decided to change his life forever.
Maya was given water and food and was immediately transported to the veterinary, where he was diagnosed with anaplasma and Ehrlichia, both parasite and lice-related disorders.
