Born without front legs, Nobby the dog. When the vet suggested euthanasia for the tiny dog, it had only been four hours since birth.
As opposed to that, Nubby’s owner made a clear choice.
The beginning of Nobby’s life was challenging. Having no front legs at birth, he had a hard time getting to his mother to nurse. Although Nubby’s brothers pushed him away from his mother as she hugged him, he was unable to feed.
Meet Nubby, the doggie with no front legs who was thought not to make it…
“His siblings were pushing him out of the way. He would have perished”
In addition, the veterinarian thought it would be best if Nobby was put to sleep, no matter how heartbreaking it was. At the time, the dog had only been alive for four hours.
Lou Robinson, a Texas resident who has dedicated her life to caring for and adopting orphaned and abandoned pets alongside her husband Mark, wants something different.
They quickly made the decision to disregard the veterinarian’s guidance and look after Nobby on their own. Nobby went with Lou to his house. In order to watch over the dog, she and her husband stayed there the entire night. He received their love, care, and sustenance through a bottle.
At first, Nobby seemed to be thriving.
“He came home with me… “Day three came and went, day seven, day 10, day 16 and Nubby thrived”
He developed larger eyes and ears. According to Loui Robinson, he was able to bark, sniff, and recognize sounds.
Things started to change after that.
“His eyes opened, his ears developed, he found his sounds, smells and voice”
About a month after birth, Nobby started to sneeze. Little bubbles came out of his nose as he was no longer able to poop.
There was a problem with Nubby’s esophagus, as seen on an X-ray.
After Nobby received antibiotics, she was put in an incubator. Nobby showed exceptional determination and tenacity despite the adverse circumstances.
Then a crisis hit. It turned out the pooch had pneumonia and “esophageal abnormality”
He wouldn’t quit trying. He retaliated by fighting. And he fought for the chance to live a respectable life as his foster parents fought to give him that chance.
The good news is that Nobby became better over time. This sweet little kid has shown to be a true survivor three years later.

Even though Nobby has certain challenges in life, he has shown the entire world that anything is possible. Additionally, the Robinsons have given him a Facebook profile so that people can follow his exploits.
Nobby seems to be feeling better than ever, judging by recent updates and pictures.
Now the doggie is back with his foster parents, and they are taking it day by day
He is now a strong dog after maturing. Playing is his favorite activity, and he seems to be fascinated by life and everything it has to offer. In order to go about and play, he even has a tiny wheelchair of his own.

A great motivator is Nobby! He stands as a testament to the idea that being unique is irrelevant despite not being like everyone else.
He just turned 5 weeks old, and his favourite thing is snuggles with his dad
“As long as he has a chance at quality of life, we will fight to give him that chance”
Nobby has shown that everything is possible with Lou and Mark’s help, despite the veterinarian’s opinion that he should be put down.
